About the Role
Our programme offers an established and distinctive approach that provides students the chance to explore a broad range of skills and knowledge whilst supporting them to develop into independent and creative thinkers with the capacity to make an impact in and beyond the creative industries.You will help us to develop our understanding and integration of practice and theory and support our students in communicating their work and viewpoint to a range of audiences. Specifically, you will recognise the changing landscape in the disciplines, demonstrating strong critical understanding of the relationship between graphic design/ illustration and one or more of the following areas: creative activism, social justice and decolonization.
About the Candidate
We’re looking for a highly creative and inspirational practitioner with experience of Graphic Design and/or Illustration practice, theory, and scholarship to work across the BA Hons and MA GD&I courses. The successful applicant will have a strong critical understanding of Graphic Design and/or Illustration and experience of teaching in a higher education environment (or similar context).
