Imperial College London launches UK Research and Innovation Future Leaders Fellowships

The UK Research and Innovation Future Leaders Fellowship scheme (UKRI FLF) offers an exciting opportunity to join Imperial. APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED.

About the Scheme
This scheme intends to grow the strong supply of talented people needed to ensure that UK research and innovation continues to be world class, supporting early career researchers and innovators with outstanding potential. These Fellowships support applicants from diverse career paths, including those returning from a career break or following time in other roles. The UKRI FLF scheme provides long-term support in order to enable fellows to tackle ambitious programmes or multidisciplinary questions, and new or emerging research and innovation areas and partnerships.
About the Selection Process
At Imperial, we are using an open process to select candidates to support through this funding opportunity. Applicants must demonstrate how the UKRI FLF will support and enable their long-term career goals and how their skills and experience at the time of application are aligned to the scheme. Applicants must contact their preferred department in advance of submitting their ‘request for support’ form and show in their applications to Imperial how their proposal aligns to the department’s strategic aims and research priorities.
