About the Post
Join a dynamic and enthusiastic team of academics and researchers within Sports Science and Therapy who strive to deliver an exceptional student experience with our vision to drive education for social justice. We do this in many ways including curriculum delivery which supports representation and opportunity for our students.
You will also support the delivery of our Health Sciences degree programmes through substantial research leadership, ensuring that the School’s research findings are embedded within our curriculum in an engaging and accessible manner.
You will work collaboratively through teaching and research within the Institution, our School, and the Health Sciences group, fostering its values and supporting strong academic outcomes. Maintenance and further development of professional skills and expertise will be encouraged and supported.

 

About the Role
You will have a degree in either Sports and Exercise Science or Sports Therapy or Physiotherapy or a related subject and a PhD within the Sports discipline, being accredited with either BASES or SST or registered with the HCPC.
You will have an active research portfolio, with relevant 3* and 4* research outputs within areas of Sports and Exercise Science and/or Sports Therapy. You will be able to enhance the School’s research profile through delivering impactful research and supporting others within your discipline to do the same.
